  1. Unzip Kuscos Installation Files

    On the command prompt, run the following command(s):

    sudo apt install unzip
    sudo unzip Kuscos*.zip -d /opt/kuscos/installation.files
  2. Copy Configuration Files 

    On the command prompt, run the following command(s):

    sudo cp -R /opt/kuscos/installation.files/databases/config/* /opt/kuscos/config
  3. Edit thesaurus.config.xml file

    %HOST%-The host name or IP address where OrientDB is installed

  4. Set Kuscos configuration folder on Tomcat

    On the command prompt, run the following command(s):

     sudo touch /opt/tomcat8/bin/setenv.sh
    Add the following content to the file:

    JAVA_OPTS="-Dapplication.config=/opt/kuscos/config"
  5. Copy inspector folders

    On the command prompt, run the following command(s):

    sudo cp -R /opt/kuscos/installation.files/inspector/* /opt/kuscos/inspector
  6. Copy war Files

    On the command prompt, run the following command(s):

    sudo cp -R /opt/kuscos/installation.files/war.files/* /opt/tomcat8/webapps
  7. Start Apache Tomcat service

    On the command prompt, run the following command(s):

    sudo systemctl start tomcat8
  8. Access Kuscos

    On any browser, try to access kuscos (replace %HOST% by your host name or IP address and %PORT% for Tomcat running port):
    http://%HOST%:7070%PORT%/portal/
